  This place is very underrated. Last Saturday we were on a mission to find the best banh mi and we found it here. The bread was crispy, veggies were fresh, and beef was delicious. Their "closest" competitor's bread and meat was mediocre compared to here.
  The service was ok (primarily due to a language barrier) but wuick. the place was clean, not too fancy but has all the basics.

  I went to Pho Viet and Grille for dinner and ordered the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli Noodles. It was decent, but the chicken was burned around the edges and not that flavorful. The portion size was good. I also had the Summer Rolls and the Calamari. The Summer Rolls were okay- the outer rice wrapper was well made, though the inside didn't have much substance (just some light veggies). The Calamari was softer, less crispy, and not particularly flavorful compared to typical calamari.
  
  The service speed was pretty good, especially considering the fact that there was only one waiter. There was one other group of people dining on a Friday night. The restaurant interior is cozy.
  
  Overall, Pho Viet and Grille has average Vietnamese food. For what it's worth, the other people who I came with seemed to enjoy the food more than I did, but this is my review after all. I'd recommend coming here if you are looking for a reasonably priced Vietnamese restaurant in the local area and are fine with average quality food.

  To be quite honest this place's bahn mi is quite good. Lets get that out of the way. When making a Bahn Mi, most places don't understand the spirit of the food. Its not a meat sandwich accented by vegetables, but instead a vegetable sandwich accented by meat. I think that Pho Viet and Grille does this well. The mayo tastes phenomenal and the bread is what I look for in a good Bahn Mi, flakey, crusty on the outside yet soft on the inside. The pate was what one would expect of a good Bahn Mi. Sadly the goodness only lasts so long in that the sandwich is quite small for the price you pay. With tax and tip its around 8.50-9$ for this sandwich. I get that its Georgetown but this sandwich is a food of the common folk.
  
  The hoisin sauce came in a store bought bottle. I get that Sriracha can come like this as it does in most places, but hoisin is a staple of Vietnamese and south east Asian cooking. I would like that it is made freshly in house as well. Finally, the pho was quite watery. It doesn't have that richness you look for in a pho that's been simmering meats for hours on end. It was clean, but not savory. I would come here for a good sandwich to-go if I was in the area but nothing more.

  Dont go here. Never
  Knew a prerequisite of a bahn mi was stale bread! If you think pork belly is a thin slice of pork grilled like a philly cheese steak then give it a go!  I should've known it wasnt gonna go well as the first thing my child said was it stinks in here. The nuoc cham sauce was practically translucent without body or depth of flavor. Not sure if they were rationing limes here. Dont expect pate, daikon radish or cilantro in your bahn mi. It's really just stale cracked bread lathered with butter with shavings of meat that is nothing like it should be. The grilled dish was not that better sans  jasmine rice. Maybe it was Uncle Bens.

  Food came on time but only luke warm. The packing and courier delivery was very sloppy. Thus, all of the broth spilled out and soaked the napkins, some of the broth got into the packing of the spring rolls, which made them soggy, broken up and inedible. It was very obvious that the soup was spilled everywhere when the courier handed the bag to me but he was unapologetic. I had to throw the entire thing away. The restaurant refused to issue a refund. Such a waste of time and money and I would never order from this place again!
